End of semester

Wow, I can't believe the end of the semester is already here. The semester for sure flew by. I'm still slightly nervous about the mystory project because im not very good on the computer and it has a lot to do with working on the computer. But im working very hard to get it done and get it done correctly. Hopefully with this project everything will come together. I worried about the last portfolio and it came out very nice so maybe working under pressure is good for me. hahaha well must go work on my project now!!

Project part 3 and 4

Part 3 and 4 of the project are due very soon. The end of the semester came very fast, I'm not sure if I'm going to do well on this project because it is really hard for me. I don't like using computers much and making a website is a little difficult for me, also not exactly knowing what to write is another challenge i am currently faced with. I try working on it and nothing really comes to mind. I'm going to have to spend alot of time at home working to get this completed, i hope i will be able to finish in time for next Thursday!

part 2 and 3

Part 2 and 3 of our new project is very confusing. I am not totally getting it yet, I hope to be able to understand it a little better after we do a few more things in class, such as finish watching the video and talking about it in class, maybe this will help me when i start writing the mystory. I also didn't really understand the jimmy corrigan book, it's also very confusing, and since we didn't talk much about it in class so that's not very much help.

New project

Last week in class we have been talking about our mystoriography project. It seems a little difficullt, and it's a little hard to grasp but i'm hoping the things we do in class help me to understand it better. Its getting close to the end of the year and i really want to be able to keep my grades up and do well on this project so i will probably be going to see mr mcguire alot for help. It was a relief to finish the portfolio but now im nervous about this project so hopefully i do well.

Portfolio

I finsihed my portfolio today and I really hope it is done correctly. I worked really hard the past couple pf weeks preparing and re writing essays. I am really gald I am finished with it. I am also glad that the screen play project is done. I was extremly nervous about performing in front of the class. I am a very shy person and this was a task i was not looking forward to doing. So while it was pretty cool to write my own screen play from other screen plays my biggest fear was performing it. But everything went well and my group and I hope to get a good grade.

Project

Today in class we talked more about our project we have been working on. The rough draft was due today and my group had very good feedback from the other group that reviewed it. I didn't think that this was going to be so hard but it turns out it is actually pretty difficult. It's hard to take someone elses work and put it into something of your own. But I think in the end the outcome will actually be kinda of cool. I also think it's going to be cool to see the performer come in on Thursday amd perform for us.

Influences of plagarism

About two weeks ago we started a conversation in class about a picture that was turned into a painting. Many people in class believed that it was a display of plagarism. Well to me I'm not sure that I would put it that way. I think that if someone takes a picture and you use it as inspration in a paitnting then it should not be considered plagarisim. For example if you were to take and paint a picture of the landscape of a forest or maybe paint a picture of a buliding would that be considered plagarism? I do not think so. I think you are just taking someone elses idea and making it into something of your own. If there weren't pictures and different scenery to paint what would there be. Alot of paintings are inspired by something, and if we did not have those inspirational pieces alot of the worlds famous paintings would not be here today. So I really dont think that disscussion we had in class was a case of plagarism.
